This sugar scrub will work to remove dead skin cells, avoid ingrown hairs and promote circulation. You will be left with soft glowing skin, sweet right?

You will need for Glowing Skin

  • Oil (try coconut oil, almond oil, grapeseed oil…experiment to find your favorite)
  • Granulated sugar (or brown sugar for sensitive skin)
  • Container with airtight lid

Mix 1 part oil with 2 parts sugar. Add oil slowly, mixing as you go. You want a sandy texture, nothing too wet. That’s it! Easy, right? You can store this scrub in a container for up to one month, or even give it as a gift!

You will need:

  • 1/4 ripe avocado
  • ½ tsp. honey
  • 1 tsp. plain yogurt

Place a ripe avocado into a bowl and mash well with a fork, add the honey and yogurt and mix well until combined. Apply the avocado mask to clean skin (avoiding the eyes) and allow it to sit for about 15 minutes, or until dry. Rinse off with lukewarm water. If you have any mixture left, feel free to eat it…yum!

3.  Hydration Situation for Glowing Skin

The greatest thing you can do for your best summer skin is to hydrate! Drink water, a lot of it. Great, glowing skin begins on the inside. A healthy diet, that is rich in antioxidants and vitamins, combined with water, will produce beautiful, radiant skin. Drinking water helps flush out toxins and improve skin tone. 

Using a good moisturizer also helps improve your skin texture and tone. Choose a rich moisturizer that is fragrance-free (to avoid any inflammation or irritation.) 

Look for a product that includes aloe, which is soothing to your skin as well as hyaluronic acid which helps hydrate dry skin. Moisturizer is best when applied to damp skin. Use your favorite product right after you get out of the shower.
